Christmas Part 1 in Kansas

This has been a busy although relaxing Christmas Season for us. This first picture we took and used as our Christmas Cards. The second one was at home before leaving for Kasnas. The third picture is Condrad opening his first Christmas gift at my parents house in Wamego, KS. The next picture is of Terry and Mary Stark in Iowa. The last picture is of John and Jayne Starks kids (Ian and Evan) looking at Conrad saying, "Welcome to Earth."

Christmas Part 2 in Iowa

This first picture is at my sister Alissa and Zach's house with all of my brothers and sisters. (there are some wives). The second picture is Bob Canaday, my mentor, at our hotel room. That is grape juice by the way.
The next picture we were not able to get everyone in the picture, Julie, me, and my aunt is not in the shot, oh well.
The last picture is 4 generations. Grandpa Marvin Smith, Mom Julie Berry, Me Josh Berry, and Conrad Berry.

Christmas Part 3 in Georgia

After Grandpa and Judy Smith's party on the 23nd we drove 15 hours straight from Yale, IA to Dacula, GA for Grandmommies party at noon on the 24th. Here is Grandmommy sitting in here referbished chair. Pop would have loved this.
It is a tradition to take a picture of the family on Christmas morning. Condrad is hiding on my lap.
This last picture is a picture of Grandmommy and Conrad.

Christmas Part 4 in North Carolina

We made the last leg of our trip in NC to visit the hands. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. Thank you Lisa for having us, you guys are so fun to be with.

Christmas Overall

It was very fun to celebrate Christmas with our new Son and see all of our family and friends. I love my parents dearly and it was great to spend a week with them, it was special. We had such a great time talking with Bob. It was great to spend some time with all the Starks, even though it was a short visit. The kaos at the Gardners and my Grandfathers was fun. We loved spending time with the Pharr's and then getting sick was rough. Thank you Hands.

Having a son brings a whole new light to the birth of Christ. That is big love, we are excited for a great new year.

Conrad Smiles

OK, so half way during the tour I came home and kissed Conrad on the forehead and I saw him smile for the first time. WOW!

What a Great Mom

Conrad and Hudson

We had our neighbors Patrick and Christine over for dinner one night and Conrad and Hudson (only born a day apart) were both screaming. I said the prayer for dinner and asked God to keep them calm during dinner. Here was the result immediately at AMEN.

The Finale Tour

I had the oportunity to Production Manage and Tour Manage "The Finale Tour" with Donald Lawrence and the Tri City Singers for six weeks ending in the middle of November. It is just after Christmas and I am just now starting to recover from all the hard work and travel during that time.
I want to give props to my wife, son, and crew. We all endured a long hard road during this time.
I will say that I walked away with some new veiws on the black culture and how we can better ourselves moving forward. Black or White, I have learned that so many people struggle with fear, lack of self confidence, depression, anxioty because they everyone is always thinking about themselves. If we would focus on how we can serve others around us we can get so much more accomplished in life.
The picture of Santana next to the picture is of the Bishop in Kansas City. The other picture is of the sold out show in Atlanta.

Grandma and Grandpa Berry

A week ago mom and dad (Berry) came to visit. We had a great time. I wish I had more time to hang out since they do not visit very often. I got to play 18 holes of golf with my dad. That was the first time I beat him in anything. Practice pays off. Julie, Conrad, and I was able to show them what southern Meat and 3 was. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to grill my famous meet for them. Thanks for coming mom and dad. I love you and thanks for the very nice card.
