After Grandpa and Judy Smith's party on the 23nd we drove 15 hours straight from Yale, IA to Dacula, GA for Grandmommies party at noon on the 24th. We had our neighbors Patrick and Christine over for dinner one night and Conrad and Hudson (only born a day apart) were both screaming. I said the prayer for dinner and asked God to keep them calm during dinner. Here was the result immediately at AMEN.

I had the oportunity to Production Manage and Tour Manage "The Finale Tour" with Donald Lawrence and the Tri City Singers for six weeks ending in the middle of November. It is just after Christmas and I am just now starting to recover from all the hard work and travel during that time. I want to give props to my wife, son, and crew. A week ago mom and dad (Berry) came to visit. We had a great time. I wish I had more time to hang out since they do not visit very often. I got to play 18 holes of golf with my dad. That was the first time I beat him in anything. Practice pays off. Julie, Conrad, and I was able to show them what southern Meat and 3 was. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to grill my famous meet for them.

Julie's mom has been a great help this past week. She has really gone above and beyond helping out and getting things that are needed at the last minute. She sure loves her grandson. The love is given back to her by her grandson and children.

Conrad Ethan Otis Berry was born on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 9:57pm. He is 8 lbs 7.5 oz and 21 in. He is also good lookin just like his mom. His first word will be dad.
